There might be a few reasons why you might want to cook a frozen burger on a Blackstone griddle.

Maybe you don’t have much time and you want something quick and easy. Or maybe you’re looking for a way to save money and frozen burgers are cheaper than fresh ones.

No matter what your reason is, cooking a frozen burger is a simple and easy process that can be done in just a few minutes. And cooking them on a Blackstone griddle is a great way to ensure that they come out perfectly cooked every time.

I know how it feels when you’re trying to cook a frozen burger on a griddle and it just doesn’t seem to be working out. Trust me, I’ve been there.

The main challenge that people seem to have when cooking frozen burgers is getting them to cook evenly all the way through without them having a burnt outside and a raw inside.

But don’t worry, I’m here to help.

I’ll walk you through the entire process so that you’ll know exactly what to do and your burgers will come out perfectly cooked every time.

If you follow the instructions below, you’ll be able to cook them perfectly every time.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Now that you have all of your ingredients, let’s get started.

Heat up the griddle to medium heat or medium-low. You want the griddle to be hot enough so that the burgers get that crispy crust but not too hot or else they’ll burn on the outside and stay raw on the inside.

Splash some oil on the griddle and use your metal spatula to spread it around. Without a bit of oil, your burgers may stick to the griddle and be a pain to flip.

Unpack the patties and remove the paper that’s separating them. Don’t worry about thawing the patties first. You can cook as many or as few burgers as you want as long as they fit on the griddle.

Now it’s time to add the burgers to the griddle. Make sure that they’re not too close together or else they’ll steam and won’t get that crispy crust that we’re looking for.

Cook for a couple of minutes per side. Usually, about 15 minutes total is enough but it depends on the thickness of your patties and how well-done you want your burgers to be.

If your frozen burgers weren’t pre-seasoned, don’t forget to add your favorite seasonings. Don’t have any favorites? Salt, pepper, and powdered garlic always work great.

Check the patty from time to time to see how it’s cooking. If the outside is getting charred, lower the heat or flip the patty.

You might have to lower the heat anyway to ensure that the burgers cook evenly all the way through. If you want to be safe, the internal temperature of the burgers should reach at least 160 F.

If you like some melted cheese on your burgers, now’s the time to add it. Just place a slice or two of your favorite cheese on top of the burgers and let it melt.

You can speed up the melting by covering the burgers with a cover of sorts. Small stainless steel bowls work fine.

This step is optional but I like to do it. Turn down the heat slightly and spread some butter on the griddle. Place the buns on the griddle, and toast until they’re slightly browned. You can toast them on both sides.

Now it’s time to add your favorite burger sauces to the buns. As mentioned, I like ketchup and mayo.

Place the cooked patties on the buns and finally add your favorite toppings. The order of the toppings is up to you but I like to put the lettuce on first, then the patty with melted cheese, then tomato slices, followed by pickles, and finally onion.

There you have it! Now you know how to cook a frozen burger on a Blackstone griddle. So what are you waiting for? Invite some friends over, fire up the griddle, and start griddling!
