About

Hey there, fellow BBQ enthusiasts! I’m John Carder, and I’m here to tell you a little bit about myself, the guy behind the grill. My love for the great outdoors and cooking up a storm are as inseparable as smoke and sizzle, which is why I’ve dedicated this blog to the wonderful world of grilling and outdoor cooking. So, grab a spatula, kick up your feet, and let’s get to know each other!

When I’m not flipping burgers or tending to my smoky, delicious creations, you can find me hanging out with my lovely wife and our two curious cats (who, by the way, are always hoping for a tasty morsel to fall off the grill).

With long hair that sometimes threatens to dangle into the flames (don’t worry, I’ve got it under control), I’m quite the sight to see at the grill. But hey, who said you need a crew cut to be a grill master?

Now, let’s talk grills! As a self-proclaimed BBQ aficionado, I’ve amassed quite a collection of grilling equipment. From my beloved Blackstone griddle to my trusty Weber charcoal grill, I’ve got a grill for every occasion. I also have a no-name electric raclette grill for those cozy indoor cookouts and a nifty little gas grill for when I want to take my grilling skills on the go.

My passion for BBQ began in my early years when my dad introduced me to the art of cooking with fire. As a young whippersnapper, I was mesmerized by the alchemy of turning raw ingredients into mouth-watering masterpieces.

Since then, I’ve grilled my way through countless cookouts, perfecting my technique and developing a deep appreciation for the rich flavors and camaraderie that comes with outdoor cooking.

Here on my blog, I’m excited to share my love for grilling and outdoor cooking with you. From tried-and-true recipes to tips and tricks that’ll turn even the timidest of grillers into a BBQ rockstar, I’ve got you covered.

And hey, if you’ve got a question or just want to swap grilling stories, don’t hesitate to reach out. After all, a true grill master is always ready to lend a helping hand (or tongs).

Fire up your grill, and let’s embark on a smokin’ adventure together! And always remember – life’s too short for bland, boring BBQ.

Happy grilling!

John Carder
